Kitty-cat Stowee #19: It's alive!
Last Sundee aftah me accidentally stepped on kitty-cat and kitty-cat bit me (but me had not noticed yet that me had a wound), kitty-cat walked off towards the main gate, dropped down and stahted rolling around on the dwivewee. At about the same time, popsy noticed that a woggie had made wee-wee on the right fwont wheel of the car. So he went to fetch watah in a containah and splashed the watah on the wheel.
Meanwhile, kitty-cat remained lying down on the dwivewee enjoying the brief mohnin sunshine. Suddenly she noticed a stream of watah come flowing down the dwivewee fwom the car towards her. So she got up right awee and stared at the watah, apparently wondehwing wha' it was. Poor kitty-cat even got startled a bit when the stream slightly changed course. She continued to watch closely following the stream slowly as it made its way down. (Me had to tell popsy to add moh watah because the stream was stahting to come to a stand still.) Finally, the watah ended up somewheh to the left of big woggie's favorite wee-wee bush near the main gate. Kitty-cat just sat deh on the drivewee staring at the watah probably waiting foh moh "action". When nothing else happened, kitty-cat decided that the strange "creature" might try to escape fwom the bush and went to place herself to the right of the bush to stalk the "creature" in case it came out on that side.
And that's where we left the kitty-cat when we went back into the garage.

Kitty-cat Stowee #18: The revenge
Me was standing nee the garage door opening chatting with popsu out in the dwivewee aftah he arrived fwom giving communion to the sick deez mohnin. Kitty-cats were not around foh gweeting pahty duties though. Anywees, while talking with popsu me moved me left foot a bit to the left. Suddenly me heard a yowl followed by a sharp pain in one of the toeeys of mi left foot. Ay yay yay. Yakko had finally showed up (tho late) foh her gweeting pahty duties. But naturally me didn't see her as she came out of the garage. So me accidentally stepped on her fwont paw and kitty-cat sank one of her fangs into the middle toeey of mi left foot in retaliation. :(
[Me checked mi toeey right awee and didn't see any puncture. But when me went inside the house laytah, me saw that mi toeey was bloody on the right side. There was a small wound pala. So me had to wash mi toeey with soap and put Betadine on it.]

Old Stowee #14: Hide and seek
Topics: bugging, hide and seek
From 2004 October 23:
The odah night (21 Oct), me was sitting on popsy's rocking cheh in the family room watching tv. Popsu was going through some stuff in the study.
Woggie came along and stahted bugging popsy to let him outside. So popsy tells him, "Okay, let's go" and walks toward the kitchen. Woggie trots along behind then walks ahead of popsy.
But just befoh entering the kitchen, popsy slinks away behind the cabinet foh glasses and then crouches down behind the dining table. Oblivious to popsy's "disappearance", woggie continued walking into the kitchen and stops beside the hand sink, facing the door to the wondwee, apparently waiting foh popsy to come and open the door. Only aftah several seconds of waiting did woggie realize that popsy was not around: quickly looks right, left and then behind. Seeing nobody deh, woggie toins around and walks back into the dining room with a puzzled look on his face.
Poor woggie looked all the more distressed when me stahted asking him, "O, whad'ya do? Lost popsy? Whad'ya do with popsy?" Aftah completely missing out on seeing popsy behind dining table, woggie decides that popsy must have gone back to mastah bedroom and so he disappears into the mastah bedroom. Soon he comes out puzzled as evah.
Fwom deh he walks back to the dining room where he finally spots popsy behind the dining table.

Kitty-cat Stowee #17: Dot goes hunting
Yesterdee mohnin, when we went out to the wondwee area on our wee to the car, we discovered a "hunting" victim in the wondwee sink: anodah fat rat. Since we were rushing to go to choich, we had to leave burying the rat until when we got back laytah.
Then laytah, when we had gotten back and matsu and popsu were reading newspapah in the rear terrace, me noticed black-and-white kitty-cat crouched in front of one of the pineapple plants. Was obviously stalking something that was hiding among the pineapple plant and the weeds deh. Kitty-cat would sometimes get up and then poke her head through the leaves of the pineapple. Then she'd sit down ageen but still be on the alert. Me got bored watching tho and went back to mi room.
The next time me came out of the room, which was several minoots laytah, me looked out the rear terrace to see wha' happened to the kitty-cat. Kitty-cat was no longah deh in front of pineapple but then soon appeared at the top of the stairs--carrying a big fat rat in her mouth! Haay naku. Anywees, kitty-cat brought rat to her play area (a spot near the base of the nangka twee) and stahted playing with her new toy.
Then laytah when popsu went to bury the foist rat we saw in the wondwee sink oilyah, kitty-cat was not undah the nangka twee anymoh. But popsu found gwoosome weemains deh. :(

Kitty-cat Stowee #16
Deez mohnin while me was pweepehwing mi bweakfast, me spotted black-and-white kitty cat ageen sleeping on the workbench outside. Kitty-cat was all stretched out on the right end of the workbench doing a bit of sunbathing.
Then laytah when me went back to wash mi dishies, kitty-cat was still sleeping on workbench but had moved toward the center.
Several minoots laytah, kitty-cat was still sleeping awee but nearer the center of the workbench. While me was watching, kitty-cat got up and crawled farther toward the center to take refuge in the shade of a plant whose bwanches were hanging ovah the woikbench.
Getting ovahheated alweady pala.

Old Stowee #13
Topics: bahking, dinnah time
From 26 March 2006:
Deez aftahnoon, mama pweepehed woggie's dinnah but there wasn't enough rice so she had to cook a new batch. Woggie waited patiently in the meantime.
But laytah he noticed that there was food alweady in the microwaveable containah we use to mix the woggie food. Woggie got up and went to the countah and sniffed at it, i.e., made a partial inspection. Then he went back to mama in the dining room and stahted bahking at her. Must have figured that the food was pweepehed alweady and was demanding to be fed na.
Anywees, me took ovah fwom deh na lang and went outside to get woggie's big bowlie/palanggana. When me came back into the kitchen, me noticed that there seemed to be enough rice alweady in the containah (although mama wanted to ad more yet). Me just told mama that there was probably enough rice alweady. So me twansfehed woggie's food to the palanggana.
But while me was twansfehwing the food, somebody disappeared fwom the kitchen. When me told mama about that, mama said that woggie was pwobably expecting that we were still going to put the palanggana of food near the electric fan to cool it off. But food deez time was cool enough to be given to woggie. Woggie apparently knows routine alweady. :)
Me just had to call woggie (who was sitting in fwont of the tv in the dining room) and somebody happily came to the kitchen and followed me outside to be fed.

Kitty-cat Stowee #15: Cat nap, interrupted
The odah Saturdee aftahnoon aftah eating lunchie, me went to the kitchen to wash mi dishies. Looking out the kitchen window, me saw stray kitty-cat sleeping soundly on the pebble washout outside the rear terrace. Then when me stahted washing mi dishies, the noise apparently could be heard outside because kitty-cat woke up and looked toward the kitchen with an annoyed expression. Probably wondering wha all da racket was about. Anywees, aftah a several seconds of staring at the kitchen window, da sleepyhead went back to sleep.

Kitty-cat Stowee #14: Lazy mohnins
Last Thoisdee, me was last to leave the house in da mohnin which was unusually cool and rainy. (Popsu and matsu left much oilyah to go to the hospital kasi.) When me stepped out into the wondwee area, me found the black-and-white kitty cat crouched on the doormat. Then aftah me put mi stuff into the car and went back inside the garage to lock up, me found black kitty cat all curled up sleeping on top of the ironing board. Kitty cat didn't even get up when she saw me was alweady locking up the back door. She just opened her eyes and watched me leave, then went back to sleep.
Then deez mohnin, which was anodah cool and rainy mohnin, the kitty cats were nowhere in sight when we got back home aftah choich. Even the stray male kitty cat was sleeping awee on top of the doormat in fwont of the fwont pohch. Only when popsu had backed the car into the dwivewee did the black kitty-cat finally show up followed by the black-and-white one. As usual, they came out only to demand some pat-pats.

Kitty-cat Stowee #13: The cat on the mat
Hee's pikchah of stray kitty-cat lying down on doormat in front of front pohch. Kitty-cat likes to stay deh most of the dee sleeping. Sometimes all curled up and sometimes stretched out on the doormat. Then he disappears in the late aftahnoon. Though most probably spends in night in the garage when it's kinda cool in the evening. Me sometimes even discover lots of kitty-cat hair all over the roof and the hood of the Honda City in the morning. Or muddy kitty-cat footprints on the windshield.

Stowee about anodah woggie #3
Topics: anodah woggie, misc
Late deez aftahnoon when me was on mi wee to the car, me saw in the lobby a beagle on a leash held by a student who was talking to some of my students. When me asked the student if it was really a beagle, he replied he didn't know and that he was just dog-sitting the woggie foh somebody. The student held a a rope toy with two tennis balls (like the blue one the big woggie had) which he would toss but the beagle didn't seem interested and just stood there looking around. Anywees, me gave the woggie a pat-pat and woggie seemed to like that. Me gave moh pat-pats then the woggie sat down. Shohtly aftah dat, woggie stood up and sniffed at mi shooeys (pwobably could smell kitty-cat or else the big woggie). Me was giving it anodah pat-pat when the little woggie suddenly jumped up on me. Wanted more pat-pats I guess. But I first had to tell it sternly, "Down! Down!" befoh me gave it some moh pat-pats. Then me had to say goo' bye so me could get going home.

Kitty-cat Stowee #12
Topics: gweeting pahty, kitty-cat
When me awwived home todee, me drove up our road and beyond our gate as usual to back the car into our dwivewee. Me was surprised to see big white and grey kitty-cat sitting deh on the pavement of our dwivewee in front of the Honda Civic. Yakko was also deh as usual sprawled on the pavement right on the spot where me was going to pahk the car (to the right of the Civic and in front of where the L300 is pahked in the garage). Me also noticed that the stray kitty-cat was on the alert when me drove up, watching the car as me backed it down to the gate and got off to unlock the gate. Poor kitty-cat decided to leave though and disappeared into to the lowah gahden.
But Yakko remained deh where she was and did not budge a bit even when me came ovah to get her out of the wee. Eventually me had to pick her up, carry her inside the garage and close the garage door a bit (dat da routine na). So while me was backing up the car, matsu came out to tell me when to stop backing up. Then black kitty cat came out of the garage and went straight to the sandpile deh at the side of the dwivewee to make poo-poo (dat also paht of routine). Me closed the gate and chatted a bit with matsu before matsu went back inside while me got mi stuff fwom the car. Meanwhile, kitty-cat had nishpied making poo-poo and was stahting to push sand over the poo-poo (dat definitely paht of routine). But when she spotted matsu walking back to the garage, she stopped (not paht of routine!) and made a run for it. Haay. Obviously wanted to rush to the wondwee to get a chance to slip into the kitchen when matsu went back inside the housie.

Stowee about anodah woggie #2
Topics: anodah woggie, misc
Me had to go to PNB to withdraw money foh matsu late deez aftahnoon. On mi way deh, me saw two students, a girl and a boy, who were walking an akita. They had stopped to feed a stray woggie with some woggie food they brought along with them in a plastic bag. Stray woggie (looked a bit like Fluffy of SJ bu with shorter hair) was eagerly eating woggie food off the concrete surface of the PNB parking lot. Anywees, me walked to on to machine to withdraw. When me was about to leave, me heard the fellow tell the girl, "Hindi na yan kakain. Tingnan mo, o? Nanglalambing na sa 'yo." When me looked at them, there were still bits of woggie food on the ground and the woggie was leaning on the girl. The girl was pointing at the bits of woggie food but poor woggie ignored her and continued to snuggle up next to her, probably hoping to get a wubby or a pat-pat. :)

Kitty-cat Stowee #11: Still waiting
Topics: farewell pahty, kitty-cat
Tuesdee mohnin deez past week, matsu and popsu had to leave early to go to an appointment with a docter at the hospital. As me had mi 8am class as well, me also had to leave oily dat mohnin. We had all nishpied bweakfast and me went to bwush mi teeth and get ready. When me came out of mi room and out into the dwivewee, me was surprised to discover dat matsu and popsu had already left; me didn't hear them leave at all.
Anywees, me just loaded mi stuff into the car and went back inside the house to lock up. Then when me came out into the wondwee area, the black kitty-cat was deh as usual twying to slip in through the kitchen door. Me managed to keep her out as me closed and locked the kitchen door. Then me went to go out the back door. When me looked back, me saw the kitty cat sitting on the mat outside the kitchen door looking up expectantly at the door knob as if she was waiting foh somebody else to come out to open and close the gate foh me. (Was also pwobably waiting foh anodah chance to slip into the kitchen.) Da poor thing didn't seemed to have noticed eithah dat popsu and matsu had left alweady.

Kitty-cat Stowee #10: Evicted?
Yesterdee mohnin, matsu went out to get newspapah. As she stepped out into the wondwee area, she was surprised to find Dot crouching on the doormat just outside the kitchen door instead of on her usual "penthouse suite" on top of Yakko's "condo". When she looked to the right to see Yakko's "condo", she saw the black one was sleeping instead on the "penthouse suite". Somebody apparently got bullied out of her usual siesta spot.

Kitty-cat Stowee #9
Yesterdee was wondwee dee but it was a. belinda who did the washing. Matsu decided that she need not iron the clothes so that she would have time to clean the housie. So a. belinda just collected the clothes fwom the wondwee lines and placed them back folded in the wondwee baskets. To make sure kitty cats won't mess with the clothes, she covered the wondwee baskets with the metal palangganas and left the baskets out in the wondwee.
Then deez mohnin, when matsu went out to the wondwee area, she found that one of the palangganas had fallen off and the black kitty cat was sleeping peacefully on top of the clothes (top dog's bath towel and matsu's duster) in the wondwee basket. :)

Old Stowee #12
From 19 March 2006:
The odah night, woggie went to bug matsu who was watching tv in the family room as usual. And as usual ageen, matsu called me to attend to woggie. But me couldn't figure out wha' da poor woggie wanted. After a while, woggie seemed to have gotten frustrated with me because he even went up to the top dog in the dining room and went "woo-woo-woooooo" at him. Me finally guessed the woggie wanted to go to bed. So popsu had to go to the wondwee to get the ruggies (newly washed) and put them on the woggie's back foh him to carry ruggies himself to the mastah bedroom. When they arrived at the mastah bedroom, popsu put ruggies down at the foot of the bed, pulled back the bed covahs fwom the bed ... then woggie settled down na. Good thing popsu didn't have to keep woggie company aftah tucking him in.

Although top dog was not getting dressed to go to choich and all the sliding doors were open, the poor woggie was still anxiously watching evewybody, probably wondehwing if he was going to be left home alone ageen. Then top dog went out to family room and toined tv around to face the dining room (going to watch tv while eating bweakfast). When woggie saw dat, he visibly relaxed (no moh big watching eyes) then walked to fwont pohch to lie down. Probably figured that top dog won't be closing sliding doors aftah dat.

Top dog and I tried to find out wha da woggie wanted (matsu was busy watching tv kasi). Toins out there was no moh watah aftah all in pooh woggie's watah containah in the guest terrace. Topics: alahm, dinnah time, osyoso
Popsy went down to the lowah gahden to watah the plants deh late deez aftahnoon. Both kitty-cats (Yakko was let out as usual) followed him to make osyoso. When popsy was done, he stahted to roll up the gahden hose. Kitty-cats noticed this right awee and stahted to walk back up to the uppah gahden via the stairs in the back. (It was around dinnah time also, btwee.) But when popsy tarried to puttah around a bit moh, kitty-cats came back down and stahted meowing at him to complain. So popsy hurried up and stahted to walk up the stairs with the kitty-cats running ahead of him. Just as the kitty-cats disappeared off the top of the staircase, popsy went to hide himself behind the retaining wall. He said he could hear the kitty-cats staht meowing wondehwing why he was not behind them. They soon showed up at the top of the staircase, spotted him hiding deh and stahted complaining ageen. Deez time popsy went all the wee up the stairs and gave them their dinnah.

Kitty-cat Stowee #7: April Fool's Day
Topics: alahm, dinnah time, kitty-cat
Todee, me left mi airconditioned room late deez aftahnoon (around 5:30pm) to get some watah to dwink fwom the kitchen. At that time popsu and matsu were still taking a siesta in the mastah room also with the aircon on because it was really wahm (32C). Yakko had been let out her cage oilyah deez mohnin and was still out when me was in the kitchen. As usual, when the kitty-cats heard me in the kitchen, they stahted putting up a racket outside the kitchen door. So me went out to feed them and put Yakko back into her cage. Then me went back to mi room to enjoy the cool air deh.
Laytah tho, me found out that popsu had much laytah awakened and went out to watah some plants. When he stepped out into the wondwee area, kitty-cats put up a racket ageen. Haay. Naturally popsu thought they had not been fed yet and so fed them. :| Naughty kitty-cats! Played an April Fool's joke on poor popsu.

Me spent deez aftahnoon gwading papahs in the rear terrace as it was too hot to stay in mi room. (It was 32C in the dining room!) While me was deh, the kitty-cats, including the big white and grey stray kitty-cat, would walk by and disappear down the stairs to the lowah gahden or else would show up at the top of the stairs and walk toward the wondwee area.
Then around 5:10pm, Yakko showed up and stahted pacing just outside the rear terrace on the pebble washout and making a racket with her meowing. Haay... wanted to be fed alweady. Me had to tell her to wait just a few moh minoots while me nishpied gwading the last few papahs. When me finally nishpied, me went to the kitchen and pulled the bag of kitty-cat food out of the shopping bag on the countah. At the same time me was opening the kitchen door with mi right hand. Right awee, me could feel somebody pushing the door open. It was the two kitty-cats pushing the door with all their might with their heads! As soon as I opened the door wide enough, both came running in as usual and ran out again when I went outside with the bag of kitty-cat food to give them their dinnah.

The odah night, patsu was sleeping hee in mi bedroom (as he usually does while me at mi laptop). He was sleeping so soundly that he didn't hear top dog arrive fwom prayah meeting and go to the mastah bedroom to watch discohvehwee channel while eating dinnah.
It was only long aftah dat the patsu finally woke up and went to the family room. He probably caught scent of the top dog because he walked up to the kitchen door to indicate that he wanted to go outside. So me let him out and opened the garage door for him. Patsu just stuck his head outside the garage door and stared foh a long time at the Honda Civic pahked right deh. Then patsu went back inside (nishpied inspection alweady kasi).
When me stahted asking him "Where's papa?", poor patsu stahted looking foh top dog hee and deh: under the dining table, in the kitchen, in the living room, in the guest room... Then finally he went to the study where he perked up and got all wagga wagga when he spied the top dog watching tv in the mastah bedroom. As expected, patsu went ovah to top dog to demand a wubby.

When matsu showed the rug to me, me jokingly said it can be given to woggie and decided to bring it upstehs to show popsu who was in the kitchen. Sure enough, the woggie who had been watching us fwom the top of the spiral stehcase noticed the rug I was holding and followed me to the kitchen. Poor thing probably thought it was a new ruggie foh him. (Actually he considers most ruggies hee at home--including those in the kitchen and even in the bathrooms--as "his".) Me had to bring ovah his ruggies fwom the mastah bedroom to the dining room foh him to lie down on. Once ageen, woggie seemed satisfied with the substitution, eventually fohgot about "his" new ruggie and fell asleep on old ruggies.

Aftah staring at the pakeej lying on the floor foh a few moments, woggie stahted scratching at it like he usually does with his cushionee/ruggies! Must have thought it would serve well as some kind of low-pi. Nice and soft and kinda looks like cushionee when flat on the floh kasi. Of course, me had to walk ovah to stop him befoh he made a hole in the plastic. Me also offered him towely foh ruggie and put towely down on his usual spot nee mi cabinet. Thankfully woggie came ovah and settled down right awee.

Kitty-cat Stowee #3: Cat on the cool tin roof
Late Tuesdee aftahnoon, popsu let Yakko out of her cage foh playtime and dinnah time. Then soon aftah me arrived fwom woik, popsy, who was still outside puttering around, stuck his head in through the kitchen door to see if kitty-cat (Yakko) by any chance was inside the house. He said he had noticed that the kitty-cat wasn't around outside (which is surprising) and was wondehwing if kitty-cat had slipped inside the house unnoticed. When matsu and I said we didn't see the kitty-cat inside but didn't think she was, popsy went back out ageen to find Yakko. A few minoots laytah he was back with news: kitty-cat must be on the roof!
Haay...so had to go outside to help popsy who said all he heard was faint meowing from somewheh but couldn't figure out where the meowing came fwom. Anywees, popsy decided to climb onto the scaffolding that was still standing along the side of the house to take a look on the roof. But as it was already dahk--and kitty-cat was even dahker ;)-- he couldn't see much. So he just called out Yakko's name and finally aftah several minoots, popsy called to us, "She's here" But when kitty-cat refused to come near popsu, me had to go fetch the bag of kitty-cat food. To help attract kitty-cat, me rattled the bag on mi wee outside. Then me hoid popsy say, "She's coming already!" and just as I toined the corner to the side of the house, kitty-cat came running up to me. :) Phew! So had to give kitty-cat (and the odah kitty-cat) a few bits. (They had alweady been fed dinnah.)
Popsu guesses that kitty-cat must have heard the rats running along the gutter of the roof and decided to climb up the scaffolding then onto the roof to investigate. Once she was up there, however, she must have lost her wee and couldn't figure out how to climb down. She probably also couldn't see over the gutter edge and figure out on which side of the house/roof the scaffolding was.

Kitty-cat Stowee #2
Topics: dinnah time, kitty-cat
Popsu says that sometimes when he feeds the kitty-cats, he leaves the door of Yakko's cage open so Yakko is actually still free to roam around aftah dinnah time. Whenever Yakko finishes eating ahead of Dot, Yakko would jump up the odah cage and staht eating poor Dot's food, with Dot just looking on helplessly. :|
Anywees, Popsu says that Yakko was the slower one at one dinnah time but still left her cage to jump onto the odah cage to eat leftovahs. But deez time there were no leftovahs except foh one piece floating on the watah in Dot's watah bowl. Instead of trying to scoop the piece out with her paw like Dot does, Yakko tried to eat the piece directly off the watah soiface. Of course, the piece would just keep floating awee whenevah Yakko's tongue would touch the watah and cause ripples. Poor Yakko kept doing this unsuccessfully until she apparently got fed up and tried one last solution: she tipped ovah the watah bowl! It seems she got that last piece of leftovah in the end.

Kitty-cat Stowee #1
According to popsu, deez aftahnoon he was out in the dwivewee puttering around while kitty-cat (Dot) was standing near the opening in the garage door. Then a huge beetle came flying from nowhere and landed near the kitty-cat. Right awee kitty-cat pounced on the beetle and stahted to play with it. Was pushing it back and forth with her front paws and tried picking it up with her mouth but couldn't. Aftah sometime, beetle suddenly took flight and, pooh thing, kitty-cat went aftah it and whammo-ed it down. Then resumed playing with it ageen. As expected, kitty-cat eventually got bored and left it alone. I guess beetle eventually walked awee by itself aftah dat.

Stowee #11: The woggie and the mysterious blot
Topics: osyoso
Late one evening last week, woggie bugged me so me had to get up fwom bed as usual to find out wha' he wanted. When me followed woggie out into the family room, woggie right awee walked up to the sliding door--which means he wants to go out. :) Me opened sliding door and woggie walked on to the kitchen where me opened the door to the wondwee area. But woggie tarried as usual in kitchen (sniffing nee the kitchen sink) befoh finally going out to wondwee area.
Once in the wondwee area, he looked around a bit and toward the back door... then stopped. He had spied a dark blot on the floor nee base of the cabinets undah the wondwee sink. Woggie went ovah to investigate, i.e., sniff at the blot. Woggie went on sniffing and sniffing but apparently couldn't figure out what it was. Eventually he decided to give up and went on into the garage where me opened the garage for him to go out. Then as usual ageen, he came back in aftah a few minoots, went on to the wondwee and into the kitchen.
Meanwhile, me decided to check wha' the blot was myself. Haay... no wondah. Oilyah dat dee, top dog had L300 seatcovahs washed and they were piled into one of the batyas which was placed on the wondwee countah. And the blot that the woggie saw was just the shadow of one of the "tassels" (string foh securing the seatcovahs onto the seats) of the seatcovahs being cast due to the dim night light the top dog had put in the wondwee area. No wondah poor woggie couldn't figure out wha' it was: it probably smelled just like the bare floor! :)

Old Stowee #3: The woggie and the spidah
Topics: stomping
Deez stowee fwom matsu which happened befoh me got back fwom Singapoh:
There was a nice big spidah living in the study area. Sometime aftah spidah was foist seen, matsu noticed that it was carrying an egg sac. So big spidah would be seen in the mastah bedroom and nee the mastah bathroom crawling around with the egg sac. Then one mohnin, matsu woke up to find poor spidah dead on the floor nee the mastah bathroom with egg sac lying nearby. Poor thing apparently got "stomped". :(

Stowee about anodah woggie
Topics: anodah woggie, misc
Late deez aftahnoon (just oilyah), me went to pick up mi passpoht photos. On mi wee back to office, me saw ageen fat black labrador being given a walk by his ownah. Fat woggie ageen stopped by the obanyaki cart near the campus gate and sat down to beg foh food. Ownah of the obanyaki cart handed woggie ownah one obanyaki to give to woggie. Woggie got up on his hind legs to beg and was tossed pieces of the obanyaki until no moh was left. Then fat woggie went on his wee ageen.

Old Stowee #2: Compulsory playtime with the feedah
From 02 March 2006:
It was evening aftah dinnah time (both foh woggie and foh us) and me was at mi laptop as usual. Woggie went up to the feedah sitting and watching tv in the family room and stahted bahking. Feedah called me ovah to see wha' the woggie wanted since she was busy watching tv and didn't want to miss her tv show. So me went deh and figured that the woggie wanted to play. Me picked up boney-boney fwom woggie's toy cohnah and threw it toward the kitchen foh the woggie to fetch. Didn't seem to be that intehwested so me got bola-bola as well and rolled it across the floh also toward the kitchen. Woggie ran aftah bola-bola and twied to pick it up. But then soon aftah he abandoned bola-bola and went back to family room and stahted bahking at the feedah ageen. Haay... insisting that the feedah be the one to play with him. Poor feedah had no choice but to get up and at least make the opening kick with the bola-bola. Me took ovah aftah dat and seems like woggie was satisfied that feedah at least took paht a bit.

Old Stowee #1: Fwee bweakfast
Topics: bweakfast
From 27 February 2006:
Deez mohnin, matsu pweepehed her bweakfast (oatmii) as usual and sat down in the family room to watch the mohnin news on tv. Woggie was in fwont pohch snoring awee on the mat deh. Then matsu heard the fellow who delivahs our newspapah come drive up our road in his motorcycle. Matsu got up fwom the rocking cheh, put down her bowl of oatmii on the footstool nearby then went outside to get newspapah. When she got back inside the house, there was the woggie having bweakfast: standing near the footstool and eating up her oatmii! :O Matsu just had to put the rest of the oatmii in a styrofoam containah and give it the woggie. I suppose matsu had to make herself anodah bowlie of oatmii. Btwee, woggie licked the styrofoam containah clean. ;)

The woggie has died
Topics: cushionee, in memoriam, photo
Bryan died this morning around 9:50am while we were trying to get him to a vet. Mama woke up to find him having a hard time breathing and immediately woke Popsy and me. We noticed that his gums were very pale and his limbs already growing cold. We put him in the van to rush him to a vet clinic but since the vet med hospital here in campus is closed on weekends, we had difficulty getting help for the poor woggie.
Bryan is now buried near the croton plant below the mastah bedroom window. He was 9 years, 3 months and 12 days old and a wonderfully affectionate dog and a faithful companion.
Rest in peace, Bryan. We'll miss you.

Me arrived home to find woggie waiting behind kitchen door to gweet me. :) Aftah giving him pat-pat and wubby, me went on to mi bedroom, stopping to chat briefly with matsu watching tv in family room. Woggie followed a little laytah then disappeared into yoh room. When me checked on him a little laytah, somebody was still standing beside yoh bed. So me had to bwing cushionee ovah deh so that woggie can lie down.
Then much laytah, the top dog arrived fwom soiving during mass but woggie didn't hear top dog arrive because he was sleeping soundly on cushionee in yoh bedroom. Me went to get mi dinnah in kitchen and popsy soon showed up to eat dinnah as well aftah changing to house clothes. He decided to feed kitty-cats foist (no wondah they were so noisy) and opened the kitchen door to go out to the wondwee. Just as he was closing the door, woggie came trotting ovah fwom yoh bedroom and made it just in time to watch top dog feed the kitty cats. :)

Stowee #9: Home alone?
Topics: cushionee, left behind, sleeping
Hawooey. Deez the woggie ageen.
Me woke up deez mohnin--probably just befoh 8am--to discovah that me was alone in the mastah bedroom! All the while me thought top dog was still in bed but it was just his thick blankie all bunched up deh on his side of the bed. Waaah. :( Looks like me got left all alone in the house ageen.
Anywees, me decided to go out to see if me was really home alone. So me walked out into the family room and dining room. Gee....nobody in the dining room, rear terrace or kitchen eithah. :( Then me noticed door to the bedroom of mi alternate feedah was still kinda closed. (She usually leaves door open when she leaves foh woik.) Me walked ovah to investigate, nudged the door open and stuck me head in to take a look. What a relief! Mi alternate feedah was still hee and making her bed. She was calling to me to come on in but me decided not to anymoh. Me was alweady satisfied to know dat me not alone in the house.
Then the phone rang. Me "pointed" to it until alternate feedah came out of her room to answer it. While she was talking on the phone, the kitchen door opened--and top dog walked in! :D Top dog didn't leave the house pala! Anywees, alternate feedah walked to kitchen to hand the phone ovah to top dog. Then me trotted ovah to the kitchen to gweet the top dog--and hopefully get a wubby or at least a pat-pat.
Aftah top dog nishpied talking one the phone, me felt sleepy ageen and was stahting to fall asleep right deh in the kitchen. Thankfully, me ever reliable alternate feedah noticed and provided cushionee twansfah soivice, putting down the cushionee right where me wanted it. Me settled down and was soon fast asleep. In fact, me was so sound asleep that when me next woke up deh in the kitchen, mi alternate feedah had alweady left foh woik.

Stowee #8: Locked out
Late last night while me was editing mi eeksam, woggie showed up hee at mi room to make a weequest to be let outside. So me let woggie out, woggie went about his business then came back inside. He went straight to the mastah bedroom only to find the door closed. :| Woggie tried to "blow the door down" but as evewyone inside was sleeping, of course, nobody came to open the door. Me had to coax woggie back to mi room so he can stay deh instead. Me also went to get old cushionee fwom blue cheh and placed it nee me cabinet. It took sometime befoh woggie came ovah, sniffed at cushionee and began making his "rounds". But when he finally sat down on the cushionee, he looked disappointed. Apparently prefers the nice fluffier cushionee to deez old one.
I think woggie settled down just the same but not for long. Got up ageen and me had to let him out ageen where he just took a peek outside the garage befoh coming back inside. Ageen, he went stwaight to the mastah bedroom and tried to "blow the door down". Since he refused to follow me back to mi bedroom deez time, me brought old cushionee ovah deh so he can lie down in case he gets tired. Woggie tried "blowing the door down" ageen, considered settling down on cushionee but went back ageen to wait nee the door. He gave it a nudge and it opened! Then it closed ageen by itself. Haay...electric fan pala was blowing it closed. So woggie gave it another push and it opened widah and woggie disappeared into mastah bedroom. The door closed by itself ageen. :)

Woggie didn't get much sleep todee daw because it was wondwee dee. Was busy making osyoso and would often refuse to lie down since covah of cushionee was being washed. :| Instead, would occasionally lie down on scratchy mat at the fwont pohch.
Anywees, deez evening top dog had to go out ageen foh meeting. Woggie was restless while waiting: began complaining to the feedah around 8:45pm. Me suggested to the feedah that maybe woggie wanted her to move to mastah bedroom alweady so he can sleep. But woggie didn't follow and continued to stand in the dining room. Then me noticed he would sometimes glance toward the fwont door. So me opened that and woggie went out to the fwont pohch to look out over the dwivewee. Was pwobably watching out foh top dog. :)
Aftah staying out in fwont pohch foh a few minoots, woggie came back in and stood in the dining /family room ageen. Me had to move cushionee to the spot nee the door to the basement so woggie can lie down.
Then around 9:30pm, me hoid lowah gate being opened. When me looked into the family room, woggie wasn't on his cushionee anymoh. Was alweady in guest terrace watching top dog open lowah gate and dwive the car up to our dwivewee. Me laytah let woggie out so he can carry out his gweeting pahty duties. :)

Stowee #6: More waiting
Laytah deez evening, woggie barged into mi room (as expected) and me had to provide cushionee twansfah soivice. As usual, woggie settled down. Then as usual ageen, woggie disappeared. Me found him standing in family room beside the rocking cheh where the top dog was sitting while watching tv. Me had to bring cushionee ovah deh--ageen--where woggie began his usual routine befoh settling down on cushionee: scratching and making "rounds".
Just then, top dog got up fwom the rocking cheh and toined off the tv. Almost at that same instant, the woggie stopped scratching the cushionee and stared at the top dog as if in disbelief. Woggie was probably surprised and had to stop to consider if it was useless to settle down deh in the family room if top dog was after all going to bed alweady or else moving back to the dining room. Anywees, aftah watching the top dog closely foh sometime (and aftah top dog assured the woggie that he was just going to the kitchen to wash the mug he had just used), woggie resumed his scratching and "rounds". :) Then woggie settled down on cushionee just the same.
P.S.
Top dog did move to dining room to where woggie laytah followed to make a standing protest. Me had to provide cushionee twansfah soivice ageen.

Oilyah, me was hee at mi laptop soifing and watching tv (news) while eating mi dinnah. Then the woggie poked his head through mi doorwee. Me got up to open the door widah and woggie walked into mi room. Naturally woggie just stood deh ageen so me had to go fetch cushionee fwom the family room where matsu was still watching tv. Woggie settled down and fell asleep.
Then several minoots laytah, woggie woke up and went to stand in that small hallwee leading to the bathroom. Haay... me had to move cushionee to nee mi dresser so woggie could lie down deh instead.
Then even laytah, me was surprised to see that woggie wasn't on his cushionee anymoh. Must have gotten up and taken the alternate route through yoh bedroom to go out to the family room. Me went out to investigate and no wondah, matsu was no longah in the family room and had alweady moved to the mastah bedroom. Sure enough, woggie was deh as well standing nee the cabinets. Stowee #4: Bedtime
Last night around bedtime, popsy stayed up late a usual to watch discovehwee channel. Woggie was alweady sleeping in mastah bedroom. Later when popsy stahted closing up foh the night, woggie suddenly showed up at the doorwee of the study. Apparently he wanted to make sure that the top dog was alweady going to bed. But the poor thing was in foh a disappointment as the top dog remained in the family room to watch tv.
When I went out to check on the woggie, me found him waiting/standing in the study and staring at the top dog in the family room. Woggie was also stahting to fall asleep as usual. So me had to go to mastah bedroom to get the cushionee and put it in fwont of the woggie in the study. Good thing the woggie lay down right awee and fell asleep to "keep an eye" on the top dog in the family room.

Stowee #3: A brief radar malfunction?
Topics: bahking, bugging, gweeting pahty, radar
The woggie was very restless oilyah tonight while matsu and popsu were awee attending a dinnah: kept getting up fwom his cushionee and bahking at me. Eithah I'd have to give him a wubby or provide garage door opening soivice. Whenever it was the latter, woggie would just take a peep outside, probably trying to see if the top dog has gotten back alweady.
This happened at least three times until finally at half past ten when woggie bugged me ageen, me saw the lights of the car on our road. Me gladly opened the kitchen door foh the woggie and let him into the garage. But me just opened the garage door enough foh woggie to look outside. Naturally woggie was happy as he watched top dog unlock the gate and drive in the civic.
Laytah aftah both matsu and popsu got back inside, woggie disappeared right awee to settle down in mastah bedroom.

Hawoo. I surprisingly got mi dinnah quite early todee, courtesy of mi feedah. It seems that the kitty cats also had their dinnah early todee as well. Then another surprise: mi alternate feedah came home oily as well. And no wondah, it looked like mi top dog and mi feedah were going out; both stahted dressing up soon aftah me had mi dinnah. The feedah especially had that particular fragrance that she always wore whenevah they'd go out to some evening function. I thought for a while that mi alternate feedah was going out also but then she changed into her house clothes. What a relief! At least I won't get locked into the guest terrace as usual--and I'll get some wubbies and pat-pats tonight, too!
Anywees, soon aftah top dog and feedah left, me stayed with mi alternate feedah in the family room. Mi nice fluffy cushionee wasn't deh so I did mi standing protest. Luckily mi alternate feedah noticed and brought me mi cushionee fwom the pohch. I lay down on the cushionee and fell asleep soon aftah dat.
When I next woke up, me found that me got left behind ageen in family room. :( And mi alternate feedah was already in her room watching tv deh instead. So me went deh and did mi standing protest beside the steel cabinet nee her bed. She got the message immediately and provided cushionee twansfah soivice. So I got to sleep ageen.

Topics: bahking, dinnah time
Phew! I did get my dinnah on time (i.e., not beyond 5:30pm) todee.
Aftah bahking at the feedah, the alternate feedah decided to make the dinnah preparations. She went to the kitchen, brought out my food fwom the fwidgie and placed some into the usual containah. Then she popped it into microwave, took it out aftah about one minoot then pureed the livah. But then she fohgot about the rice, so she took that out fwom the fwidgie and popped it into the microwave as well. Then to my horror, she ran back to her bedroom. Now, that really annoyed me! So I went aftah her and stahted bahking as a way of complaining. Luckily, that sent her back to the kitchen almost immediately where after waiting foh some time she took out the rice and mixed it (and some new rice fwom the rice cookah) with the pureed livah. She then placed the food into mi bowlie-bowlie. Apparently the food was kinda wahm pala, so she put it nee the fan to cool off...then she ran off to her bedroom ageen! Haaay... I had no choice but to complain. One has to keep an eye on food that's cooling off else it gets too cold, you know. This time she kinda ignored me tho. :( Anywees, she finally went back to the kitchen, picked up mi bowlie-bowlie and called me outside foh dinnah.
It was about 5:10p.m.

My Foist Entwee
Topics: blog
Hawooey. Let me introduce myself: I'm a 9-year-old boxer named Bryan--at least that's what they call me here. I am told that I was born in Davao on 19 November 1997 with some other more sophisticated high-sounding name (I've forgotten what it was but I can always ask the top dog hee to look it up) and weemembah growing up with my original owner and another little dog as a companion. After awound two or three yees, I was put into a cage to be flown to some other place here in the Philippines to live with my present owners.
Nowadays, I'm given my daily dinnah of pureed cheekin liver and rice (on time as much as possible!) and get to sleep on two nice fluffy cushionees every evening--and all dee, btwee, whenever I feel like it. I'm also provided with cushionee twansfah and door-opening soivices 24 hours a dee/seven dees a week and occasionally get to make sama to make paseo around town. I even have my own little cohnah with my favorite toys: a skinny tuks, a newly washed boney-boney and a crushed bola-bola, among others.
Okie... my bio-clock tells me it's time for dinnah but my feedah is still watching tv! Haaay... I'll have to go bahk at her to remind her about dinnah time.
Til next time then.
